Relentless Knitting Podcast

Welcome to the Relentless Knitting Podcast! We’re so happy you've found us. We are two science teachers who knit based out of the beautiful Okanagan valley in British Columbia Canada. The goal of this podcast is to share our love of the fibre arts and foster community. Our focus will be knitting with flares of other hobbies and interests. We are both recent first time moms and we’ll be sharing some of our adventures in mommyhood. We own Relentless Knitting Company and are contracted by our local yarn store to teach knitting classes. Best laid plans

Emily- Goals have been set for Tour De Fleece. I want to spin 350g in total about 15g (0.5oz) per day with a goal of 35g on the challenge day. My streatch goal would be to spin a full 500g
She also plans to do LOTS of canning this summer
perhaps make some Cowichan style sweaters for the kids and also make a larger Anders sweater for Christmas

Langfield hats! I cast on 2 of these, one in  Trekking XXL (frogged my Fork in the Road Socks) and the other in Swizzle Alpaca. I'm loving the modular construction.

Emily - Back on the Polwarth about 0.5 oz
Karla - Finished plying Caliope's Fibre Triple batt with a single of black alpaca from Sierra Vista Alpacas. With the extra alpaca I experimented with a Navajo ply. She might use this to make ghost dance by beth whipkey. Thinking about spinning my Muse Fibre Works braids and plying them to maintain the gradient this way.

Design features
Emily- did stockinette knitting on garter stitch sleeves on Top down garter stitch baby jacket. Frogged and restarted Schponcho because I know I forgot increases.
Karla- Frogged the Fork in the Road socks, would really like to knit this pattern in a self striping yarn. 

Best laid plans
Emily-  Viajante, spin and join tour de fleece (Team Sasquatch) might spin some Romney fleece, cloth diapers, maybe some new project bags
Karla - Busy/Quiet book for baby. Frogged Itineris then did a citric acid soak to set the dye. Tutorial compliments of the Knitmore Girls. Karla will run #FoolproofKAL Starting July 12 - October 12
Karla is thinking of doing some more designing. Keep your eyes peeled!
